Winnie was found by a love mom, roaming around her neighbourhood and crying from hunger. A neighbour said that Winnie was rescued from a shelter as a young pup, but abandoned by her new owners when they moved away and left Winnie behind. The landlord threw Winnie out and left her on the street before she bumped into the rescuer. The rescuer took Winnie home and foster her with the intention in finding this sweet little girl and home!
Winnie is friendly by nature and can befriend just about all walks of life. She’s great with humans, and likes to observe other dogs before getting close and inviting them to play. Winnie is not afraid of cats and can be in the space with them very comfortably. Winnie has no food aggression and likes finishing off other dogs’ food, and always tries to get the first treat before other dogs! She is still going through house training, and will need to work on doing her business outside. Winnie is a smart girl and deserves to have her second chance in life in Vancouver with a loving and patient family!
