【Age】About 1 year old
(as of April 2018)
Tigress was abandoned at a local park by an irresponsible owner, who literally kicked her out of the car. An elderly lady who witnessed the abandonment said Tigress just stood at the scene, unable to comprehend what had just happened. In the three days before her current foster mom came to rescue her, Tigress was fed by a kind-hearted lady from the same neighbourhood. Tigress behaved superbly at the park, and would approach people for food. She also wagged her tail at children when they walked by after school. The foster mom believed that Tigress would make a great house pet with her people-loving, mild temperament.
At 1 year old, Tigress is still a puppy and will likely grow to be a medium-sized dog in adulthood. Tigress is most likely a Formosan and Shiba Inu mix. Her short, brown coat will be easy to maintain. Tigress will do well with a loving, encouraging family, and will benefit greatly from continuous training and socialization.
Tigress will be at the Bosley's-Garden City Adoption Event on April 20-22, 2018.
