A rescuer was biking in the mountains one day and saw a few pups along the side of the road! He went back again in his car the next day to feed the pups. At the same time the weather was changing that it started pouring and these pups were sitting in the rain, didn't know where to go. As much as he wanted to bring the pups home to his care, they pups were too scared of people that he can't even get close to them. He quickly reached out to Second Chance team and we managed to plan a rescue mission within a few days and placed the pups in multiple foster homes to train and get ready to find their own happiness.
Tayla is great with other dogs, but very shy when it comes to people and she will need more time to open up before she can be petted. Tayla is good with cats that she tends to ignore them. She is also great with kids.
She loves to steal slippers but not to chew on them but to keep them close to her. Tayla knows to use training pads at home, but she still needs more encourage in doing her business outdoors. She is very food-motivated, but she knows to sit and wait while her foster mom is preparing the meal or feeding other dogs first and she does not guard her food to anyone. She can play with her toys quietly at home alone or active with outdoor activities such as running and hiking once she trust her human. Contact Second Chance In Life Foundation for more details.
