【Age】1 year and 2 months old
(as of February 2018)
Silvia was born in a seaside village in northern Taiwan. According to villagers, whenever Silvia’s mom has puppies, the mom’s owner would leave them out in the wild and only allow the mom to return home once the puppies are gone. When rescuers found Silvia and her mom, they were surviving on compost and hiding in the field. Silvia was only 2 months old when she was found. She was stick thin and did not warm up to anyone. Thankfully, with patience and affection from her foster family, Silvia is now friendly to people, and has become quite playful!
Silvia was attacked by a super-sized dog when she was younger, therefore she is fearful when large dogs approach her and would let out a low growl. She will need more training and guidance to help her overcome this fear. She is spayed and up-to-date with her shots, and is a very healthy girl! Silvia will thrive in a calm environment, with a patient and encouraging family to continue training her great canine manners and to explore this exciting world like other puppies. Silvia is looking to meet her loving new family! Contact Second Chance In Life Foundation for more information!
