(Born on October 15, 2017 (est.))
Roxy was supposed to be a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) dog, but after she was captured, the vet found that she had serious indigestion from eating random objects in the wild and decided to keep her in the hospital for further care. Roxy had a running stomach for a while, so she was taken to a foster family until she became healthy again. Soon, the foster found that Roxy has a sweet and mild personality and wanted to find her a permanent home once she regains 100% health (which she has!).
Roxy is an obedient little fellow, and always comes to you with her signature squinty eyes when called. She’s got a low to medium energy level, and tends to lie down and watch other dogs chase around rather than joining the hype. Roxy does not like to be in an enclosed space. She is generally friendly to all people and animals, and gets along great with children and not interested in cats. Roxy is scared of males if they suddenly appearing in front of her, as she had bad experiences in the past where she was occasionally beaten up by men. Roxy has no food aggression to anyone, and walks slowly and calmly when on leash. Roxy is looking for a furever family to provide her the tender loving care she’s been searching for all her life!
