Rene was rescued from the shelter. The shelter was going to perform (Trap, Neuter, Release) Rene when she was only about 2 months old as the shelter was too over-crowded. The volunteer at the shelter couldn’t bear the thought that Rene has to fight for herself on the street at only 2 months old, so she took her out of the shelter and foster her with socialization training that she is now ready to find her own furever home!
Rene has a calm, gentle temperament and not vocal. She is a conservative type that she will observe everything before acting anything. Rene is great with other dogs, though she will observe when she met a new dog friend and decide if she wants to play, if so, she can be very playful with other dogs. She is not afraid of strangers, but she won’t approach them either. She usually observes the strangers first, if the strangers are friendly or have food in their hands, Rene will go say hi and ask for petting or food. Rene is friendly with kids and gentle around them. Rene is food-motivated, she doesn’t guard her food/treats against people, but guards towards dogs sometimes. Rene is great with car-rides and very well-behaved in the car. Rene can be playful and active with outdoor activities, and she can also be calm and quiet at home to play with her toys alone. Rene will grow to be medium-sized in her adulthood and she is looking for a family who will love her as she is!
