Pearly was found abandoned at a local school more than a year ago, and have been with her foster family ever since. She is well-mannered and well-behaved, but has yet to find a permanent and loving home. Pearly is quiet and calm at home, but is super sociable and loves making friends on her walks. Even toward dogs that are more aggressive she displays friendly signs to show that she’s not a threat. Pearly also likes being in the company of felines, and often hangs out with cats by sitting quietly next to them.
Pearly is house-trained, and knows to do her business at one designated spot. The only thing she needs more encouragement on at this point is her eating habit – when it comes to food she doesn’t like, she drags out the process by eating only a few kibbles at a time. Pearly’s grooming routine will be easy to maintain, as she has the signature shiny short coat of a Formosan Mountain dog, and will only shed minimally and seasonally. Pearly is patiently waiting for an affectionate family to take her in, and give her a fresh #SecondChanceinLife in 2018!
