Oprah was rescued from of the shelter when she was about a month old. She was malnutrition at the time, afraid of everything and usually crawled on the floor, trying to be invisible to others.
Being at the foster home for three months with constant socialization sessions, Oprah has gained a lot of confidence with lots of love. She is great with dogs in all sizes, great with kids and playful with cats. She walks great on a leash and curious of her surroundings. She doesn’t approach strangers actively during her walk, but she will let strangers to pet her or hug her. Oprah knows to do her business on training pads indoor and grass outdoor. During the day, Oprah is being left free roaming in the house with other dogs and cats while the foster family went out for work. She is food-motivated, and she doesn’t guard her food against people, but she sometimes growls at other dogs and cats if they come near her food bowl while she is having the meal. Oprah loves to play with toys and she sometimes picks her favorite stuffed toy to her bed to sleep with. She has gone through a long way, and continuous socialization will help her to build her confidence further.
