Newton and his brother, Winston were found along with their littermates in the bushes near a busy overpass when they were about 3 months old. Rescuers suspected they were abandoned there on purpose. Winston and Newton are super friendly with people, and especially love being with other dog friends. They are ok around children and not scared of strangers (even male strangers). They have no food aggression toward anyone.
Newton is the quieter brother, and loves to roll over next to his human for a good belly rub. He’s house-trained, but would need time to get used to his new schedule once he joins his family. Newton needs more training and encouragement on a leash, as he would stop if he was fearful of something. He doesn’t get carsickness either and doesn’t rush to jump off when the door opens. Newton especially loves to have a dog buddy to be with all day long, so he would thrive in a household with existing pets already. At this tender age Newton would greatly benefit from more training and socialization as he matures into adulthood. Adorable Newton is hoping to find a loving family in Vancouver who is ready to show him how beautiful life can be! Contact Second Chance In Life Foundation for more details.
