(As of August 2020)
Nana was rescued from a shelter by a volunteer, just before the shelter was going to released (TNR) her back to the area where she was found. Nana was being bullied by other dogs in the crowded shelter and she stayed away during meal time to avoid conflicts. The volunteer took Nana out of the shelter and into her foster care. After a few months in the foster home, Nana is now ready to find her own forever home! There are multiple bite wounds on Nana’s body, but they are mostly healed, just waiting for the fur to slowly grow back.
Nana is a playful and friendly girl. She loves to snuggle with people she knows and follow them around. She is great with children and loves to play with children. She is not shy with strangers, but she won’t approach them actively either. Nana is great with dogs she knows. When meeting a new dog, she will prefer to observe them in a distance and she is very submissive when the other dog is not friendly. Nana is great with cats, that she will interact with them gently or lay down quietly next to cats. Nana loves treats and she isn’t food aggressive to people nor other dogs. She is ok walking on a leash and still learning house-training. Nana is a Formosan mix and she will grow to be medium-sized when fully grown, possibly around 40lbs.
