Maureen, Maxine and Marcia are siblings and they were rescued at about two months old. The rescuer brought them to adoption events every Saturday, but sadly, there were always no luck for them and they always went back to the private shelter at the end of the day where they will stay for the week until the next Saturday to try their luck again. Our volunteer decided to took over them and hoping to find their loving families in this beautiful Vancouver!
Maureen is the most introverted sister of the three siblings. It will take her some time to warm up in a new environment, but once she does, she is very cuddly and affectionate to both adult and children! Maureen is great with other dogs and playful with other dogs. She is ok with cats that she can be calm arounds cats, but she won’t approach them by herself. Maureen is a bit shy of strangers, but she will still let strangers pet or hold her. A family with dogs will definitely help her to warm up much faster! Maureen is good with kids she knew and cuddly to people she trusts. In the beginning with children that she’s not familiar with, she will try to stay away, but she will still let kids to pet her if she has nowhere to run. Maureen is well-behaved in car-ride and fine with the sound of traffic, but she is terrified of loud sound such as ambulance and fireworks. Maureen is a smart pup that she knows the commend “sit” and “stay” in English. She knows to sit and wait while going in/out of the elevator! Maureen prefers to go outdoor for potty, and as young pups won’t be able to hold their bladders for long, it is better to take her out for potty frequently. Currently, she’s been taking out for walks 4 times a day. Maureen is a well-behaved girl that she doesn’t guard her food to people nor other dogs and she is also well-behaved during bath time. Although the sound of the hairdryer is a bit scary, she will just do her best to sit still! Maureen will grow to be medium-sized in her adulthood and ready to join her permanent loving family!
