Liz and her nine siblings were born in a bush on the street by their stray mom. A love mom found them there and had been feeding them on the spot every day, and the siblings would run out of the bush to greet her when they heard her car approaching. In April 2019, the love mom contacted our volunteers to rescue and find good homes for the mom and puppies. The volunteers spent two days to rescue all of them. Two of the puppies fell into a ditch and the volunteers were able to find them by following their crying.
Liz is bubbly and friendly toward humans, children, strangers, dogs, puppies, cats…everyone! She can get close to strangers and be petted, especially when they are holding treats! She loves to cuddle with people and giving kisses. Liz loves playing with dogs of all sizes and personality, and does not get deterred even when they bark at her! She is curious about cats and will want to play with them. She can either sleep with her humans or by herself. She has no food aggression toward anyone. Liz has been house-trained, but knows how to use the indoor pads as well. She is quite independent, and is just as happy playing with toys on her own. Liz is looking forward to moving to Vancouver and going on exciting adventures with her new humans!
