【Gender】Male
【Weight】11 kg

Kenzo and his siblings appeared on an island of a busy street where cars were zooming past. One of them crawled onto the road and was seen by a driver who quickly stopped. He placed the little pups back onto the island but with the pups being so young, friendly and kept wanting to play, he didn’t know what to do. Thankfully, one of our volunteer passed by and saw the driver trying to prevent the pups from crawling onto the road, went over and took them all into their care.

Kenzo had a retinal detachment in his left eye and was quite uncomfortable from high eye pressure. After a thorough evaluation the vet confirmed that he would not be able to regain his eyesight in that eye, and the best way for him to not live with constant high eye pressure would be to take out the eye completely. Since his surgery Kenzo was recovered well, and is a loving little goofball who enjoys playing and eating all day long. He is usually more reserved when meeting a dog for the first time, but normally starts playing with them on the second date. He likes to be approached slowly and gently, and looooves playing with kids! He’s quite good with strangers, but does not like it when they hover over and try to pet him that way. He knows to do his business outside, but will need further house-training once he joins his new family to establish a routine. Kenzo loves yummy treats very much. He’s a fun, loving, smart boy and has even learned a few basic commands. However, the vet suggested to prepare for the worse that there is a possibly Kenzo might lost his other eye sight when he gets much older as well, therefore, Kenzo is looking for an experience dog owner who is ready to love him no matter what happens in the future. Let us know if you’re interested to learn more about this little pirate!
