Juicy and six other puppies were found abandoned near a private rescue facility. Upon being rescued, Juicy was taken to the vet and given proper medical care, then moved to her current foster home to be socialized properly. Because of this ordeal, Juicy is shy and takes a bit of time to warm up to people.
Juicy is super friendly to all furends and loves saying hi to them! She can get close to cats without giving a chase. It takes her slightly longer to warm up to people, especially strangers, but once she knows she’s in a safe place she loves following her humans around! She gets startled by sudden noise and movements when being in a new environment. Juicy will tend to stay away from children in the beginning because children are sometimes unpredictable, but with reassurance, Juicy will still let children to pet her sometimes. Juicy has no food aggression toward anyone or any dogs. She prefers doing her business outside on grass, and currently has three bathroom breaks a day. She gets carsick easily so it’s better to limit the time spent in car rides in the beginning. This sweet, quiet girl is waiting patiently to start her life in beautiful Vancouver!
