Earl and his siblings were abandoned stray puppies. Originally these pups went through a trap- neuter-release (TNR) procedure and were released back to the same spot where they were found. But soon, the rescuer noticed that they were getting horribly abused and quickly took them away to be placed with fosters instead. Since this troubling ordeal, the puppies are now all under great care and are waiting to join their new families – and be loved forever!
Earl is a shy timid little boy but gets scared when he sees strangers but who can blame him! He’s been through a lot! But once he warms up, he is a sweet little boy who likes to cuddle up to his hooman and give kisses. He likes to listen to his hooman talk to him and scratch his chest. Earl likes to play with other dogs and will sometimes bark when he gets excited while playing. When meeting strangers, Earl will sometimes stand still, sit or hide and observe from a distance. He’s also curious and will sniff the air after they’ve walked past. Kneeling down and giving him treats is a good way to get him to not be as nervous and will eventually warm up slowly. Earl is good with kids as long as there’s no sudden or big movements. He loves food and is not food aggressive towards people or dogs. Earl loves to play with his toys and he gets nervous when going for car rides. He goes outside for potty and likes to pee on grass or dirt areas. When going to poopoo, he prefers doing it behind taller grass or a little more hidden from eye sight. Guess he gets a little shy! He is ok with cats. Earl is a Labrador/Formosan mix and he will grow to be medium-sized when fully grown.
