(Born on September 20, 2019 (est.))
Cherry, Chaya and Christine, were abandoned on the streets when they were about a month old, and were seen by a nearby resident who contacted the rescuer for help.
Cherry is a timid and mild-tempered girl, and usually takes time before getting close to people. Cherry is generally good and playful with other dogs, but she’s scared of dogs that are larger than her. Cherry is shy and curious about cats that she will sniff gently when the cats are not looking! She likes to be approached gently, especially when it comes to kids, and is the queen of cuddles once she learns she can trust you. When it comes to strangers, she will sometimes let strangers to pet her if they approach her slowly and gently, but she will run away from sudden/big movements. Go slow and using treats is the best way to show Cherry you are friendly and she will start to warm up to you! Cherry has no food aggression toward anyone nor other animals. She’s house-trained, and does her business outside or on walks, but as she is still a very young puppy, accidents in the house is expected, especially if the duration between walks is long. Cherry is a Formosan mix and she will grow to be medium-sized, around 30lbs-40lbs when fully grown.
