Becky and her siblings were born on the street. The area that they normally stay around was cared by two love moms who went there to feed the strays every day. Some people in the neighbourhood did not like the strays there and often hit/abuse the pups or swear at the love moms. Sadly, at the end of 2018, the love mom passed away due to a heart attack and the neighbourhood told another love mom to remove the dogs within a week or they will kill the dogs. The love mom started asking around for help and that’s when our rescuers came in and took over all the siblings to foster them until they are now ready to start their second chance in life!
Becky is quiet and calm at home. She is good with other dogs, though she will hesitate a bit towards other dogs that are too playful and might stay away from them. Becky is great with cats and very gentle around the cats. Becky is also great with children and gentle with them as well. Becky is very affectionate to both adult and kids once she warms up to them. Although she will be nervous around strangers, but she will still let strangers pet her if they approach her slowly and gently and she warms up much faster to kids than adults. Becky has great recall and she always wags her happily when she hear her family member calling her name. Becky is food-motivated to everything other than her kibbles, and she doesn't guard her food towards people nor other animals. Becky walks well on the leash and she knows to use training pads to do her business indoor as well. Becky behaves well during car-rides, but she gets car-sick sometimes. Continuous training will help her improve her balance in the car as well.
