(As of August 2020)
On February 3, 2020, 12 puppies were found abandoned outside a love mom’s house. They were weak and starving. The love mom took all of them in and Barry was one of them! After a few months in the foster home, Barry is now ready to find his own forever home! Barry, Bonnie and Benny are possibly siblings.
Barry loves playing with his doggie pals and he is curious when meeting new doggies friends. He is very affectionate and cuddly with people he knows. When it comes to meeting strangers, he will let strangers pet him and sometimes approaches strangers with curiosity, as long as you go slow and gentle with him. Barry is good and gentle with children. Barry loves food and he is not food aggressive towards people nor other dogs. He is patient while waiting for treats as well! Barry is about 90% housetrained, he is still learning, so accidents in the house is expected in the beginning. One thing about Barry is that he HATES being tied up to a post or tree and he will howl/bark because it makes him think he’s being abandoned, so instead of walk-in coffees, go for drive through! He is a playful boy, so when it comes to cats, he’ll want to chase and play with them like he plays with other dogs. Barry loves to play with toys, any kind of toys! Barry is a Formosan mix who will possibly grow to be around 50lbs-55lbs when fully grown.
