Ava and her siblings were born strays and reported to be captured to the shelter. Ava was in the shelter for about two months, with lack of care and lack of exercise, she was malnourished and couldn’t walk properly. A volunteer saw Ava and decided to take Ava into her foster care. After being in the foster care for a while, Ava is now healthy and ready to find her furever home!

Ava is a playful and energetic girl. She loves to play with other dogs. She is friendly and submissive with other dogs that she will try her best to befriend with other dogs even when they are mean to her. She is curious about cats and she will want to approach to sniff. Ava is playful and cuddly with people she knows, but she tends to keep her distance from strangers that she will take some time to warm up. Ava is gentle with children, but she will hide away from active and loud children until she gets familiar with them. Ava loves treats and she doesn’t guard her food against people nor other dogs. Ava is still learning about house-training, so accidents in the house is expected. She is nervous during car-rides and drool sometimes. With more training, she will adjust and learn to improve her balance in the car! Ava is a Formosan mix and she will grow to be medium-sized, possibly around 35lbs-40lbs when fully grown.
